A stray, light shower is possible in the Valley tonight as moisture moves into central Arizona. Northern and eastern Arizona have already seen showers, with St. Johns and Window Rock picking up nearly two-tenths of an inch of rain. A lake wind advisory is in effect Saturday for Lake Havasu and Lake Mohave, where gusts could reach 35 to 40 mph and waves could reach 1 to 3 feet. Phoenix will see sunny skies and highs in the low 80s this weekend, with overnight lows in the upper 50s to low 60s. Dry weather is expected for much of next week, but a change is possible by the end of the week.
While some of northern Arizona could see chances of thunderstorms and rain on Friday, the Valley is expected to stay dry. April Warnecke has the latest.
