Large portion of Coolidge without power

COOLIDGE, AZ (AZFamily) — Power is out in a large area of Coolidge and isn’t expected to be restored until Sunday, according to the Arizona Public Service (APS) website.

The Coolidge Police Department said the outage is affecting traffic lights and about 5,500 homes and businesses. The APS outage map says the estimated restoration time is 10 a.m. Sunday.

For heat relief, those without power can go to the Coolidge Adult Center at 250 3rd Street.

Residents are encouraged to check the APS outage site for updates.
