Casa Grande’s littlest fiddler just landed the biggest gig of her life

CASA GRANDE, AZ (AZFamily) — At just 10 years old, Isley Dietrich already has something most country musicians only dream about: a spot on the Grand Ole Opry stage.

The Casa Grande fiddler, the youngest member of the Arizona Wildflowers Bluegrass group, an all-sibling band, won a contest that earned her a coveted performance slot at one of the most iconic venues in country music history.

“I was super happy, and I just felt really proud of myself,” Isley said alongside her siblings.

What makes her win even more remarkable is how early her musical journey began. While her siblings all started playing fiddle at age three, Isley picked up the instrument at just two years old.

“We can’t stop talking about it,” one sibling said. “We’re bragging to all our friends, our sister’s going to play on the Grand Ole Opry.”

The whole family plans to make the trip to Nashville to cheer Isley on when she takes the stage.

“It’s going to be so awesome,” a sibling said. “We’ve been before, but it’s going to be so fun getting to cheer her on.”
