Wienerschnitzel to open new location inside Tempe Walmart

TEMPE, AZ (AZFamily) — The world’s largest hot dog chain is continuing to grow in the West.

Wienerschnitzel announced this week that it will open new locations inside several Walmart stores across the western part of the country, and that includes a Tempe Walmart.

The companies have not announced which Walmart location in Tempe will be receiving the Wienerschnitzel store. All new locations are scheduled to be open by this fall.

Cities with Walmart locations to receive Wienerschnitzel stores:

• Puyallup, WA
• Alamogordo, NM
• Tempe, AZ
• Reno, NV
• Colorado Springs, CO
• Bakersfield, CA

Wienerschnitzel‘s release says the additions show its focus on non-traditional growth.

“Wienerschnitzel has spent decades building a strong reputation, especially on the West Coast, and this expansion into Walmart stores signifies a new era of growth for the brand,” said Director of Franchise Expansion Shak Turner. “It’s clear Wienerschnitzel’s unique concept fills a specific void for multi-brand franchisees looking to grow their portfolios, which is one of the elements that attracted me to the brand initially. I’m thrilled to join this amazing team and play a part in spearheading initiatives and new partnerships, which will no doubt catapult the brand to new markets.”

The locations inside Walmart stores will feature Wienerschnitzel’s full menu.
