Teen boy shot to death in Avondale neighborhood

AVONDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — A teen boy is dead after being shot in a neighborhood in Avondale Sunday night.

Police say just after 8:15 p.m., they received multiple calls about shots being fired near 108th Avenue and Flanagan Street. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a boy, identified only as a 17-year-old who had been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not yet been released.

No suspects are in custody and police are asking anyone with information to call the department at 623-333-7000
