PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) — Hope’s Frybread, started by Hope and Aaron Peshlakai, opened as a roadside stand selling frybread and Navajo Tacos off the side of Power Road in Mesa.

After years of perfecting their recipes and flavors, they decided to take the leap and open a brick-and-mortar restaurant. It was a no-brainer to open in Mesa, Arizona, because that was where they first lived after moving from the Navajo Reservation. Hope and Aaron have created a space that they are proud to call “a home away from home” for the local Indigenous community.

Hope’s frybread, being the vehicle for both savory and sweet menu options, uses her grandmother’s recipe for the freshly made frybread and scratch-made chili beans in the Navajo Tacos.

At Hope’s Frybread, they hope that you feel the welcoming comfort of home when stepping through the doors at their Mesa location. It is reflected in the decor, fragrant, simmering scents, and delicious flavors of fresh ingredients.
