Arizona nonprofit in need of help after LA wildfires hit important supplier
PHOENIX (AZFamily) — An Arizona nonprofit is in dire need of supplies as it continues seeing effects of the Los Angeles wildfires.
The Foster Alliance is the largest provider of essential services to foster families across Arizona. The organization relies on a supplier that’s headquartered in Los Angeles for a large portion of its donations of diapers and wipes.
But after the wildfires in January, all those resources are going to support the local community that’s still recovering from the devastation.
The Foster Alliance’s largest age group served is 0 to 5 years old, so donations of items like diapers and wipes are critically important.
Now, they’re asking the Valley community for support with these items.
If you would like to donate to The Foster Alliance, you can use the link on their website to make a donation. The location is also open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays for anyone to drop off donations of the needed items.
