Mild temperatures are going to continue for the next several days with a warm up for the weekend. We do have a storm system that’s going to drop into Arizona on Wednesday. The storm looks pretty dry so we’re not anticipating any rain chances in the Valley and just slight precipitation chances in northern and eastern Arizona. Even so, the storm will bring in a colder air mass for one day and highs in the deserts will drop into the 60s. For one day. Wednesday. It will also be a bit breezy on Wednesday afternoon.

After that system moves through the state and strong ridge of high pressure will build in from the Pacific. That system is going to bring dry and warm weather to the state into next week. And while we could get our first 80 of the year at Sky Harbor, we’re not forecasting that just yet.

Here’s how it stacks up. Tuesday look for highs in the low-70s before we see temps in the upper-60s on Wednesday afternoon. Thursday will feature highs right around 70 with Friday a bit warmer than that. Then for the weekend, anyone headed out the the Phoenix Open at TPC is going to be happy. We’re forecasting a high of 76 on Saturday and 78 on Sunday. Sunday is the day we could make a run at 80 degrees.
