Happy Monday! After a mild Sunday, look for a breezy and cooler start to the new week today. We'll top out near just 90 degrees this afternoon in the Valley, which is about five degrees below normal for this time of year in Phoenix.
A storm system passing through our region is responsible for the cooler weather, but rain chances stay limited to mostly the higher elevations of our state. There's only a slim chance today and tomorrow for any storm activity in the Valley. Skies will likely stay sunny, with a warm-up beginning again Wednesday.
That warm-up will be short-lived as another storm system brings cooler and windy conditions for the end of the week into the weekend. At this point, we could even be in the upper 80s Friday! Again, rain will be pretty limited with this next system as well, but we'll take the cool-down.
