Rather warm and dry weather will dominate Arizona thru the weekend, with highs in the low-to-mid-80s and lows in the 50s. However, we are seeing some changes in the overall weather pattern that could bring us a decent chance at rain by Wednesday and Thursday. And while there certainly isn’t any guarantee we’ll actually get rain, it’s going to be our best chance in quite a while.

Right now, the timing of next week’s storm could bring some showers in as early as Tuesday night, but more likely, Wednesday morning. Scattered showers would stay in the forecast thru Thursday. This storm is still not looking like a major rain/snow maker. The Valley may see about ¼” of rain, perhaps a bit more in the northern and eastern portions of metro Phoenix.

Temperatures will be another big story. From the mid-80s we’ll see thru the weekend into Monday, we’ll start cooling off dramatically. By Wednesday, expect highs only in the low 70s. On Thursday, we’ll only be in the 60s.
