A ridge of high pressure will be building into Arizona this weekend and early next week. That will allow temperatures to warm up nicely. By Sunday, we should see highs in the low 80s around metro Phoenix. Early next week, we could make a run to 90-degrees. But more than likely, temps will stop short of that in the upper 80s.

The snow that’s falling in the mountains is fairly isolated. However, earlier on Thursday there were some areas of heavy snow mainly west of Flagstaff. The snow will end overnight. No rain was evident in the Valley with the exception of the far north Valley which picked up some very light rain overnight.

No rain is expected into the middle of next week.
