Woman killed, 2 in serious condition after crash in Tolleson

TOLLESON, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) -- A woman has died and two others were taken to the hospital after a crash in Tolleson Saturday morning. The woman who died has been identified as 29-year-old Amanda Sue Wunderlee. She was visiting from out of state, police say.

Tolleson police responded around 9:30 a.m. to a crash near 91st Avenue and Garfield Street. Officers believe the driver of a Nissan Titan was speeding northbound and crossed into southbound lanes when they hit the passenger side of a Ford vehicle. Wunderlee, who was in the passenger seat, did not survive, according to police.

The drivers of both vehicles were taken to the hospital in serious condition. Police say impairment is not suspected, but the investigation is ongoing.
