Serious crash

PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) -- Fire crews are at a two-vehicle crash that sent three people to the hospital on Saturday afternoon. It happened in Phoenix on 43rd and Peoria avenues around 3:30 p.m.

Phoenix Fire Department says the three people sent to local trauma centers due to the crash include a 9-year-old child, a 29-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man.

When Arizona's Family crew arrived on the scene, they saw the two vehicles involved in the crash was a Buick LeSabre and a Chevy pickup truck. Police on the scene said the Buick was T-boned and the child was taken to the hospital unconscious. The two adults are now in stable condition, police said.

It is unclear what caused the crash. Police say driving under the influence is not a factor. The crash is still being investigated.
