SCOTTSDALE, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) -- A man was struck and killed by a car on Thanksgiving night.
Police said a car hit the man in the area of Hayden and Indian School roads around 8:45 p.m. The man was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died.
He has been identified as 60-year-old Carl Glenn Foster.
Sgt. B. Reynolds with Scottsdale police said neither speed nor impairment were factors in the crash. Reynolds said charges not expected to be filed against the driver.
Hayden Road was closed from Indian School Road to Thomas Road while police investigated, but the road has since been open.
