GLENDALE, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) -- Police have released new video of a driver who hit two pedestrians and drove off Saturday night. The hit-and-run crash left one man dead and a teenage girl hurt. It happened just before 7:30 p.m. in the area of 49th and Glendale avenues.

According to police the man and the 17-year-old girl, were hit mid-block on Glendale Avenue. Both were taken to area hospitals. While the teen is expected to survive, police say the man died from his injuries. He has been identified as Carlos Chavez Aguirre, 39.

Police released surveillance video from the scene on Monday. Glendale police say the suspect was seen driving a 2003 to 2006 model Chevrolet Silverado single cab pickup, with a custom dark brown paint color and oversize wheels. Police say the windows on the vehicle were also tinted.

Due to the crash investigation, Glendale Avenue was closed from 51st to 47th avenues. The road has since reopened.
