PEORIA, AZ (3TV/CBS5) -- A car driving on the Loop 303 in Peoria crashed head-on into another oncoming vehicle Monday night. The Arizona Department of Public Safety says a Nissan Sentra was traveling the wrong way northbound in the southbound lanes when it hit a Tesla head-on near Lake Pleasant Parkway.
DPS says both driver were injured. The wrong-way driver, a 78-year-old man with dementia was driving the Nissan Sentra and Peoria police was looking for him. He was taken to the hospital.
