PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) - The eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 are closed west of Tonopah after a deadly crash involving commercial vehicles Saturday night. Officials with the Arizona Department of Transportation say one person died and two others were seriously injured after two commercial vehicles collided on I-10 around 8:15 p.m. near milepost 64, near the La Paz County and Maricopa County line.
DPS officials say the vehicles were blocking both eastbound lanes of the highway, and there is significant debris on the roadway. Crews are working to clean it up. There is no estimated time to reopen the eastbound lanes. The westbound side of the highway is unaffected.
