PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) -- Four people, including an infant, are in critical condition after an accident involving a Valley Metro bus in Phoenix Monday evening.
Phoenix Fire crews were called to the scene around 8 p.m. after a three-vehicle collision was reported at the intersection of 40th Street and McDowell Road.
When they arrived, crews found a city bus and two cars had collided. One of the cars involved was flipped over onto its roof.
There were 4 people injured, including a 3-week-old girl, a 19-year-old woman, a 22-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman. They were all taken to a local hospital in critical condition, Phoenix fire officials say.
The intersection was restricted as investigators worked in the area.
