GLENDALE, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) -- Super Bowl LVII (57) will be played at State Farm Stadium on Feb. 12, 2023, the NFL and the Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee announced on Wednesday.
"The exposure and economic impact it brings to our region is unmatched, and so is the level of community support required to execute such a massive undertaking," said David Rousseau, Chairman of the Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee.
It will be the fourth time that Arizona hosts the big game and the third time that the NFL will use the stadium, according to a news release. Sporting officials say that Arizona joins only South Florida, New Orleans, Los Angeles, and Tampa Bay, hosting the Super Bowl at least four times.
The Seidman Research Institute at Arizona State University said the last time the Super Bowl was held in the state; it produced a progress economic impact of $719.4 million for the Phoenix metro.
