SCOTTSDALE, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) - Some of the biggest Phoenix Suns fans are former players. After retiring from the team, Dick and Tom Van Arsdale stayed in the Valley. The twins took their talent to a whole different kind of business - art.

At Van Arsdale Art in Scottsdale, that talent is on full display through paintings by Tom, drawings by Dick and photos from their time playing basketball. "To be a retired Phoenix Suns player right now is pretty special because my brother and I are just ecstatic about the team they have right now," said Tom.

Tom played for the Suns a year while Dick was on the team for almost a decade. "Dick was the first player chosen by the Phoenix Suns," said Tom. "He was with the team for nine years. He's in the Ring of Honor. He's the original Sun, and they had some pretty good years here even though they didn't win the championship."

On this game day, you'll find Tom in their Scottsdale art gallery. Dick is usually there too, but he's away on vacation. While art is a new passion for them, the brothers say they'll be rooting for their first love and the players following in their footsteps Tuesday.

"Nothing can replace basketball, I mean, that was our heart," said Tom. While Tom and Dick won't have the chance to watch the game together, they say they'll be calling each other up after to talk about how it went.
