Pizza and donuts, together at last! This weekend, two locally produced foodie festivals will take over Margaret T. Hance Park in Downtown Phoenix, to dish out pizza, donuts, and more at the 5th Annual Phoenix Pizza Festival and 2nd Annual Downtown Donut Festival. These are sister events scheduled for Saturday, November 16th, 2019, and Sunday, November 17th, 2019, respectively. They take place on a beautiful grass field located next to the Burton Barr Central Library.

Both events are expected to sell out. Approximately 3,000 attendees each day will have access to about 20 vendors and a park-filled festival with lawn games, live bands, kid’s craft zone, and local vendor marketplace. Pizza makers will serve $2-$4 slices, full pies, and everything in between on Saturday. Some of this year’s Pizza Fest participants include: Floridino’s, NYPD Pizza, Lou Malnati’s, Grimaldi’s, Saffron JAK, Merkin Pizza Wagon, Jimmy & Joe’s, and Fratelli’s from Flagstaff. Donut makers on Sunday will all offer a $1 samples as well as a full selection of items. Vendors include BoSa, The Local Donut, Bites Mini Donuts, Hurts, Dunkin’, Alien Donuts, The Beignet Babe, and Mama Jim’s Gluten Free Kitchen.

Craft beer will be served exclusively from Arizona Wilderness DTPHX all weekend, and on Sunday, look for Korbel mimosas to pair with your donut delights. The festivals are partnered with Downtown Phoenix Inc. as a beneficiary. This community development group promotes the revitalization of Downtown Phoenix by supporting events and local businesses.
