Our very own Brandon Hamilton shares a recipe for a savory and sweet almond ricotta.

INGREDIENTS

for savory

• 1 Cup of Water

• 1 1/2 Cups of Blanched Slivered Almonds

• Salt

• Pepper

• Optional Additional Ingredients and Spices include: Basil, Garlic, Lemon Juice, Oregano, Nutritional Yeast

for sweet

• 1 Cup of Water

1 1/2 Cups of Blanched Slivered Almonds

• 1 tsp of Vanilla Extract

• Powdered Sugar - Sweeten to taste

• Optional Additional Ingredients and Spices include: cinnamon, orange zest, lemon zest or honey.

INSTUCTIONS

Let the almonds soak in the water for 10 minutes before blending.

Combine Water, Almonds and Seasoning in a high-powered blender.

Pulse the blender a few times, and then, gradually increase speed to high for 30 seconds to 1 minute until it's smooth and fluffy.
