This three ingredient simple savory salmon dish is my favorite salmon recipe. I love that the recipe only calls for three simple ingredients that you probably already have on hand. This recipe comes from a friend. Years ago, I picked my son up from his friend’s house and I was shocked to hear my then 11-year-old tell me how much he loved the salmon they served him for dinner. Did I hear my boy right who wouldn’t dare try salmon for me because it was fish! I had to know the secret recipe that made my kid a salmon lover. The next weekend when I drove my son back to his friend’s house for another play date, I asked the family for the recipe. I couldn’t believe how easy it is to prepare.

Here it is for your family to try:

What You Need:

4 salmon filets

1/2 cup maple syrup

1/2 cup soy sauce or I use Tamari for a healthier option to get the liquid aminos

What You Do:

Simply combine the maple syrup with the soy sauce.

Dip and coat salmon in the mixture.

Place salmon in a bag to shake, combine and marinate.

Marinate salmon in fridge for several hours or overnight if you wish. Prepare salmon your favorite way....grill, etc.  I fry mine when it is too hot to grill outside.
