In her book, "Fair Play," Eve Rodsky tackles why the time-consuming work at home is often shouldered by overwhelmingly by one partner. She applies business strategies and her expertise as a mediator to create a system where both partners can "hold all the cards" on separate duties that matter to them, and give women some perspective on why they overwhelmingly take on an unfair share.

Rodsky's research involved interviewing 500 people, and her book takes all that perspective to create a formula to help couples avoid the building resentment that can take down a relationship.
Rodsky spoke to Olivia Fierro about her book, a Reese Witherspoon Book Club pick for October 2019, and how an incident in her own life sparked this journey.
