SCOTTSDALE, AZ (Jaime's Local Love) -- Nicole Royse loves art so much, she opened a gallery. She is the owner and curator of Royse Contemporary in Scottsdale. The Arizona State graduate is a vital part of the Arizona art community. She spent the past decade curating galleries such as Willo North and the monOrchid.
Royse earned a bachelor's degree in art history at ASU and has an extensive background in business, marketing, public relations, and social media. She uses all this knowledge to run her gallery and help her artists grow.
Royse Contemporary presents monthly rotating exhibitions, represents a small roster of local artists, and participates in the weekly Thursday Scottsdale ArtWalk. Royse Contemporary exhibits a wide variety of work, including painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, and installation by both emerging and established artists.
Nicole has been committed to discovering, exhibiting, cultivating, and promoting artists and original contemporary artwork of all mediums for over a decade. She hopes to educate and engage patrons and artists while exposing them to the eclectic talent we have here in the Valley and beyond.
