CHANDLER, AZ (3TV/CBS 5)--Eddie Caliendo of AZ Food Crafters loves making people happy through food.
He came up through the restaurant business working in many kitchens around the Valley.
But it was after a trip abroad when he tasted a fried empanada that he was inspired to go out on his own selling fried hand pies at local farmers markets.
That was 8 years ago.
Now, AZ Food Crafters sits at the corner of Ray and Alma School in Chandler and has expanded to offer take away food for your family.
Caliendo makes scratch made soups, loaded mac and cheese, chicken fajitas, and green chile pork dishes and so much more.
And with so many people turning to keto, paleo and vegan ways of eating,
Caliendo has options for those meal plans too-- like riced cauliflower.
Caliendo is also preparing sides and turkey for your Thanksgiving dinner.
You can order mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, stuffing, turkey-- and apple hand pie for dessert!
