PEORIA, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) – Devour the World, one of the most anticipated culinary events in Arizona, is debuting in Peoria this weekend. The event features more than 25 restaurants specializing in cuisine from around the world, as well as cultural music, art, and dance performances.

Arizona’s Family caught up with Subash Yadav and Everest Momo & Sherpa Kitchen and Kevin and Maria Lebron of Pachamama to get a sneak peek – make that taste.

Devour the World, which kicks off Devour Week (Feb. 15-23), is Saturday, Feb. 15, 11 a.m.-3 p.m., at Centennial Plaza at the Peoria City Hall Complex, 9875 N. 85th Avenue. Tickets are $55 and include samplings from restaurants, food trucks, wineries, and breweries. “Good Morning Arizona” viewers can get a 10% discount with the promo code LOCALIST. Devour the World is for foodies who are 21 and older.

Devour Phoenix was created in 2009 by the founder of Local First Arizona, Kimber Lanning. Since then, it has become “a collaborative coalition of local chefs working to create a destination food and dining scene worthy of national prestige.”
