MESA, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) -- Volunteers with Cupid Crew are set to deliver 50,000 roses to seniors nationwide across 500 cities, including here in the Valley.

While love might be in the air for a lot of people, some find Valentine's Day makes them feel lonely and alone. According to a study by AARP, 1 in 5 seniors experience social isolation regularly. But Cupid Crew is here to help!

Cupid Crew was formed by Wish of a Lifetime, a non-profit organization that grants wishes to senior citizens nationwide.

Volunteers will deliver roses to seniors at Springdale Village in Mesa today and spend quality time with them.

By sharing a rose and a conversation with an elder on Valentine’s Day, thousands of volunteers are joining the fight against senior isolation.
