Lt. Scott Veach

Lieutenant Scott Veach is a 24 year veteran of the Chandler Police Department currently in charge of the traffic unit. Lt. Veach has served in a variety of assignments within the Chandler Police Department, including:

  • Field Training Officer
  • School Resource Officer
  • SWAT Negotiator
  • Motor Officer
  • Patrol Officer

Most importantly, Lt. Veach has made a great impact off duty as a volunteer football coach at Payson Jr. High, Hamilton High School, and Chandler Youth Football from 1993-2010.

Lt. Veach recently received a Life Saving Medal after he performed life saving techniques (CPR) on a driver that sustained a medical emergency and was involved in a vehicle accident. The actions of Lt. Veach saved this person's life who was able to make a full recovery.
