Arizona School Report Cards

In 2019, The Arizona Department of Education launched the state’s School Report Cards website, an education resource created to help parents learn more about schools throughout the state.

The website serves as an accountability platform, lists the A-F letter grades for schools, provides all federal and state reports, and catalogs other individualized school details in one convenient location. All the information is listed alphabetically online. You can also search by school, by district, or zip code.

State Assessment Exams

Arizona requires students enrolled in public and charter schools to take the required state and federal assessment exams.

AzMERIT (Arizona’s Measurement of Educational Readiness to Inform Teaching) is the statewide standardized achievement test for Arizona students. This is the most well-known standardized test given to school students in Arizona. It assesses how students are doing in math and English language arts.

There are other assessment exams as well and the results of all of these exams can be found on the Arizona Department of Education’s website.
