CHANDLER, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) -- The Zoppé Italian Family Circus is celebrating 10 years of performances in Chandler.

The group is debuting new acts this holiday season through Jan. 6, 2019.

What started a decade ago as a unique addition to a busy performing arts season at Chandler Center for the Arts has turned into one of the most popular, local holiday traditions in Chandler.

The signature tent of the Zoppé Italian Family Circus is now synonymous with the holiday season for many Valley families.

Commemorating the milestone in Chandler, the Zoppé Circus will be featuring time-honored, crowd-favorite acts along with brand new performances specifically added for this season:

- Los Rios Troupe will showcase their mastery of balance and timing

- An eighth-generation circus performer from two distinct circus families in Europe and Argentina, Datherine Hanneford Poema Rios, will dazzle the audience with aerial stunts and trapeze work

- Duo Straight Up world-renowned for amazing acrobatics

- La Familia Sanchez, who will unveil their take at the Russian Swing, which propels acrobats to astonishing heights, giving them enough altitude to perform series of flips and twists

"The show changes every year," explains Giovanni Zoppé, the sixth-generation circus performer who plays Nino the clown. "So, you do not need to worry if you saw last year's presentation."

The one-ring circus, where no seat inside is more than 20 feet from the crowd-pleasing, jaw-dropping action, will also feature comedy, canine capers, clowns, equestrian showmanship, audience participation and plenty of hot chocolate and popcorn for everyone.

The Zoppé Family Circus has an amazing, unique story. They emerged 176 years ago to become one of the legendary circuses in all of Europe. Today, the seventh generation of the Zoppé family is captivating audiences across the United States, just as their ancestors did in Europe.

The Zoppé Italian Family Circus will have matinée and evening shows through Jan. 6, 2019. Tickets prices range from $15 to $40.

The show is held at Chandler Center for the Arts, West Lawn.
