A woman tossed a dog out of her truck and hasn't been caught.

BULLHEAD CITY, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) - A woman threw her dog out of her pickup truck outside of a Bullhead City animal shelter, and it was caught on a camera. Police said around 6:45 a.m. on Thursday, the woman tossed the small Pomeranian mix before driving off. Bullhead City Animal Care & Welfare employees found the old pup outside the shelter about 30 minutes later. It's unclear if the dog had any injuries.

The pickup truck was an older model, dark blue Chevy S-10 with a toolbox in the bed and a "USA 1" license plate on the front. Anyone with information about the woman is asked to call the Bullhead City Animal Care and Welfare Shelter at (928) 763-6000. Police urge those who can no longer care for their pet, to call a shelter about legally surrendering the animal.

Bullhead City is about 90 miles south of Las Vegas.
