Police seek public's help in deadly west Phoenix hit-and-run

PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) -- Police are looking for witnesses to a deadly hit-and-run crash that happened early Thursday morning on Phoenix's west side 

Authorities found an unresponsive man in the area of 43rd Avenue and Bethany Home Road at about 4:45 a.m. Phoenix firefighters pronounced him dead at the scene.

The Phoenix Police Department says investigators located debris and evidence indicating there was a crash in the area. But there were no witnesses at the scene when the police got there.
