SUPERIOR, AZ (3TV/CBS 5)-- An iconic smoke stack came tumbling down Saturday morning. 

Local company Resolution Copper demolished a 293-foot chimney stack in the town of Superior.

The town designated a viewing area along Main street, adjacent to the mine property's boundary.

City officials say the implosion is the latest phase in Resolution Copper's reclamation project at the West Plant site that began in 2005.
