ATLANTA (WGCL) - A video posted to social media shows the moment two women began fighting a security guard at an Atlanta hotel.

According to an incident report from the Atlanta Police Department, the guard first addressed the women near the entrance of the Hyatt Place hotel.

The guard told police he saw the women "smoking weed" on a patio last week and asked for their room number.

The women shouted, “We got a whole room,” but refused to specify the room number.

When the security guard asked them to leave, a group of people began to push through the door. The guard followed them and attempted to stop them at the elevator.

The guard screamed "no” as two women pushed their way through the sliding doors. Moments later, the guard and the two women began fighting as people nearby egged on the violence.

Someone posted a video of the altercation to Facebook on May 15.

Police have not identified the women involved in the fight. They are working to determine the circumstances surrounding this incident.

WGCL-TV reached out to the security guard to get his side of the story, but he has not responded. According to the Atlanta Police Department, he wants to press charges.
