PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) - The Arizona Department of Revenue will be auctioning off unclaimed items from inactive safe deposit boxes.

The annual event will be on Dec. 14 at 11 a.m. at Sierra Auction.

People can bid on a variety of things such as jewelry, precious metals like silver, vintage currency, baseball cards and other miscellaneous items.

For those who don't want to bid in-person, the online auction will be from 8 a.m. on Dec. 12 to 5 p.m. on Dec. 15.

The items are from safe deposit boxes that have been inactive or unclaimed for years. The money raised goes to the account of the boxes.
