MESA, AZ (3TV/CBS5) -- Potential rain is putting a damper on Saturday's Chicago Cubs spring training opener.

The game was supposed to start at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22 at Sloan Park in Mesa. But now, thanks to the threat of rain, the Cubs have shifted the start time to 6:10 p.m. They'll take on the Oakland Athletics.

No ticket exchange is necessary. All tickets will be honored at the evening game.
