PHOENIX (3TV/CBS5) -- If you think you have to wait until Black Friday to get great deals, think again. Consumer Reports says many bargains start right around Veterans Day.

Adding to the shopping hype is the fact that 60 percent of consumers say they will start shopping for the holidays this month.

Consumer Reports say one of the best items to start shopping for in November is televisions. From screen size, features and price November is traditionally a good month to find a deal.

However, even though prices will be cut, remember that prices will also go down again as we get to closer to Cyber Monday.

You'll also find deep discounts this month on kitchen appliances. Oven ranges, refrigerators and even coffee makers should be a good buy in November.

Need a new vacuum? This is the month to do it.

Dyson, Shark, Bissell and Hoover usually always go on sale during the month of November.

And finally, video game consoles usually drop in price this month.

Expect to see a lot of competition between Walmart and Target as the two retailers try to out-do each other with the best discount on video game consoles.

In fact, the xBox One X could drop to $375.
