PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) – Police need your help finding the man who robbed a west Phoenix Family Dollar last month. Silent Witness on Friday released surveillance video and photos of the Jan. 20 robbery. It happened at the store near 67th Avenue and Thomas Road just before 1 p.m. that Monday.

Police say the man walked into the store, put several things in a backpack and then tried to leave without paying. Silent Witness says an employee confronted the suspect, who then pushed them down. Police say the suspect also pushed a customer who tried to help the employee. The video shows all of the, grappling just inside the door.

The man met up with another person outside the store and then left the area, according to Silent Witness.

The suspect is a white man, about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing about 160 pounds. He has brown hair and a tattoo on the right side of his head and possibly on his neck. He was wearing a black shirt, jeans, and a green beanie, and was carrying a teal backpack.
