Police investigating after a possible drive-by shooting in Phoenix

PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) -- Police are investigating after a drive-by shooting left three people, including a teenage girl, hurt near 75th Avenue and Thomas Road early Sunday morning.   

Phoenix Police Lieutenant Mark Schweikert says officers responded to a call about a drive-by shooting in the area around 3 a.m. When they got on scene, Schweikert says they saw a vehicle that had been shot at.

Officers say two men and a teenage girl were all inside of a vehicle at the time of the shooting. All three people had gunshot wounds, but authorities said their injuries are non-life-threatening. No information on the suspect has been released.
