PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) - Police say a man fired shots through a garage door in the direction of Phoenix officers Tuesday night. No one was hurt.

It happened around 9 p.m. in a neighborhood near 35th Avenue and Acoma Drive, which is north of Thunderbird Road. When officers arrived at the home, they say a man fired a gun through the garage door toward the police. The man then barricaded himself inside the house. Right now, police are negotiating with him.

A tweet from the Phoenix Police Department warned people to "Stay inside, away from the area."
