GLENDALE, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) - The Glendale Police Department is hoping to get some tips in connection to a hit-and-run that left a man fighting for his life.

Police released a photo of a "vehicle of interest" in the crash. The picture is a little blurry but appears to show a dark-colored SUV. There is no driver description yet.

The crashed happened near 60th and Glendale avenues around 7 p.m. on Monday. Police said 67-year-old Kenneth Cahill was in the crosswalk when he was hit by a driver going west on Glendale Avenue. The driver didn't stop.

Police said Cahill was hospitalized and has "multiple life-threatening injuries." He was still receiving treatment as of Tuesday afternoon.

The SUV should have front-end damage and possibly damage to the windshield, police said.

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call the Glendale Police Department at 623-930-3000 or call Silent Witness at either 480-WITNESS (948-6377) or 1-800-343-TIPS (8477). Spanish speakers may call 480-TESTIGO (837-8446). (Click or tap phone number to call from this story on your mobile device.)
