(3TV/CBS 5) − The holiday season is in full swing and no doubt you are quite busy!

Maybe even too busy for festivals, so we wanted to take a look at a few you might not want to miss as we step into the new year.

First we head to Glendale! This is a great event, The Glendale Glitter and Glow on January 12. Hot air balloons, lights, music, food and fun. 80,000 people flock to downtown Glendale for this awesome event that’s been going on for two decades.

Next up is the Casa Grande Downtown Street Fair and Car Show. 200 exhibitors will offer up art, pottery, jewelry and more. Plan on food, music and a custom car show too! It’s free during the weekend of January 19.

February 16-18, be sure to head to Hance Park for Chinese Week’s Culture and Cuisine Festival. This has been going on for nearly 30 years in the Valley. Enjoy Chinese food, arts, dances music and more. There will be a Chinese tea ceremony and plenty of activities for the kids. The event is free!

In March, an event that’s been going on for nearly half a century, the Phoenix Scottish Games! You don’t have to be Scottish for this one, anyone can check out the pipe and drum performances, highland dancers and athletic events like log throwing! This is at Steele Indian School Park on March 2-3rd. The cost is $17.

Off to chandler we go for a big favorite, The Ostrich Festival! This is at Tumbleweed Park the weekend of March 8. Don’t miss the ostrich races, carnival rides, food, music, craft fair and more! Admission is $7.
