TUCSON, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) - A baby bobcat who found himself caught in a tight situation in southern Arizona had to be rescued by crews from the Arizona Game and Fish Department.
The young bobcat got caught in a flexib
le pipe in Oro Valley, which is north of Tucson. He was spotted roaming in the area earlier this week. His head entrapped in the pipe. Finally, on Thursday, crews were able to locate and safely trap the animal.
The crews from AZGFD Tucson and some residents who live in the area helped cut the little guy loose. He was tranquilized so he could be checked out, and was treated for minor abrasions. He was then released back into the wild. It's not known how he wound up stuck in the pipe.
