PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) -- When the owner of this precious feline named Winston was moving and unable to take him along, they turned to the Arizona Humane Society for help. The 9-year-old domestic shorthair has been in the care of AHS since and hoping to find the purr-fect family with whom to spend the next chapter of his life.
Winston is the best of both worlds. This cat is quite independent and is sometimes more than content just being on his own. But he also has a playful side; batting a ball around is among his favorite activities. He can also be very affectionate at times, and once he warms up to you, he can't wait to get some head and chin scratches.
In celebration of National Senior Pet Month, Winston's adoption fee has been waived. He's available for adoption now at the AHS Campus for Compassion. Staffers and volunteers strongly recommend paying this cool dude a visit. He'd love to have a new home for the holidays.
