No children were hurt when a car and a school bus collided in Mesa Tuesday.

But two adults were injured in the crash.

The collision happened just before 4 p.m. near Baseline and Stapley roads. Police say 36 students were on the bus. The children attend Harris Elementary School.

The passenger car apparently hit the school bus, according to the Mesa Police Department.

Two adults were transported to the hospital.

No students were hurt.
