PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) -- Police are looking for a man who allegedly shot and killed his step-brother in Phoenix on Thursday night.
Phoenix police said officers responded to a residential area near 89th Avenue and McDowell Road for a report of a shooting. When officers arrived on the scene they found 32-year-old Lashawn Pearson with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Throughout the investigation detectives discovered the 45-year-old suspect is the victim’s step-brother. Police believe both individuals were having an argument when the suspect shot his step-brother several times.
The name of the suspect has not been released, he fled the scene in a vehicle.
