NAVAJO COUNTY (3TV/CBS 5) - A Navajo County K-9 unit has been busy over the past few days, finding large amounts of drugs and a stolen weapon in two drug busts on Interstate 40.

K-9 Zolton and his handler Deputy Keith found 158 pounds of meth and 3,000 fentanyl pills Wednesday on the highway.

Earlier in the week, the team found 15 pounds of marijuana and a stolen gun after they stopped a vehicle also on Interstate 40.

Karl Stephens, 29, and Gwyenne Potts, 23, from Oklahoma City were charged with the possession of a stolen weapon and transportation of marijuana.
