GLENDALE, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) - A man is facing felony charges after police said he got upset over a battery charger and shot and killed another man in Glendale. It happened at an apartment complex near 59th Avenue and Bethany Home Road on March 19 around 8:30 p.m. Police said Dion Trent Walton was armed with a gun and confronted 69-year-old Hubert Moore about the charger. That's when Walton shot Moore several times. Officers were called and they used their trauma kits to help keep Moore alive. He was then taken to the hospital. Walton took off.

Investigators said the first aid helped Moore survive for more than a month. While in the hospital, he told officers what happened. However, he died on April 26. Officers found Walton on Monday and took him into custody. He admitted to the shooting, police said. He was booked into jail on one count of second-degree murder and one count of weapons misconduct for a prohibited possessor.
