Deven Hopkins

MESA, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) – The Mesa Police Department has located a 12-year-old boy who was missing Friday afternoon after he never made it home from school Friday. Police said he was found safe and returned home early Saturday morning.

The Mesa Police Department tweeted out a flyer with Deven's picture and information Friday night, saying he was an "endangered runaway"because of  his bipolar disorder and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

Deven was last seen at Desert Ridge Junior High School, which is near Crismon and Guadalupe roads, at about 3 p.m. Police said he usually takes the bus home. His family became concerned when he did not show up.

Mesa police did not release any info about where he was or how he was found, just that he was returned home safely.
